South Ambilad

South Ambilad is a city in Kannur district of Kerala, in South India. It is 24 km from the district headquarters, Kannur. It is in Kuthuparamba municipality. In Ambilad the temple called Thiruvancheri Kaavu is very famous. There is one more temple called Neicherikandy. There every year the peoples can get blessings from Theyyam (The Theyyam or Theyyattam is a popular ritual dance of north Kerala).
